Commissary announces holiday closure
The Commissary will be closed July 5 in observance of Independence Day. For more information, contact John Nelson at 731-3675.

Thrift Store summer hours announced
Through the months of June, July and August the Thrift Store will only be open on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Consignment and donations are still needed and welcomed. Unwanted items should be taken to building 581 - off Goddard Drive.

Top 3 offering scholarships
The Big Sky Top 3 is awarding two college scholarships this quarter - one to an Airman and one to an NCO. Applicants are to submit a two page essay (double spaced, original work) relating to the United States Air Force's nuclear mission by June 30. Entries should be sent to Master Sgt. Anthony Blum at anthony.blum@malmstrom.af.mil.

Belt parade slated July 2
There will be a Belt Valley Summer Celebration July 2 from 4 to 11 p.m. at Castner Park in Belt, Mt. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the parade starting at 3:30 p.m. at the Belt Brewery and other festivities offered. For more information, contact John Mital at 277-3564.

Volunteers needed for annual July 4 celebration
Organizers of the annual Black Eagle Park 4th of July picnic are looking for volunteers to help set up for the event July 3 and tear down after the event July 4 at 6 p.m.

Opportunity to explore special duties still exist
The Air Education Training Command Special Duty Briefing Team conducted their regularly scheduled visit June 14. Air Force members who may have missed the team's visit do not have to wait for the next visit to apply for an AETC Special Duty.
