MALMSTROM AIR FORCE BASE, Mont. --  Help Support Loy School
Take the family out to the ballpark for a Great Falls Voyagers baseball game tomorrow and help support Loy Elementary School by doing so. A portion of all ticket sales that day will be donated back to the school for educational improvements. August blood drive slated
The Red Cross is holding their August blood drive Aug. 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the base Chapel. A generous assortment of snacks and beverages will be provided to all donors. Volunteers needed for upcoming AWANA Year
The Chapel is planning to start the Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed program Sept. 14 and volunteers are needed to help work it. Volunteers will be asked to assist with opening, closing, workbook time, game time and bible time each day from 6 to 7:30 p.m. For more information or to sign up to volunteer, contact Beth Fasting at 731-3258.

Self defense course scheduled
The Sexual Assault Prevention and Response office is offering a self defense course Aug. 19 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m for all females ages 13 and up. Class size is limited to 15 members and includes training and manuals for rape aggression defense. For more information, or to sign up for the class, contact the SAPR office at 731-4130.

Malmstrom Clinic schedule changes
The Malmstrom Clinic will be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. for a Squadron Change of Command Aug. 19. In addition the clinic will be closed Aug. 26 for readiness training and the 341st Missile Wing annual picnic. For appointments, please call 731-4MED(4633).

Thrift Store summer hours announced
Through the months of June, July and August the Thrift Store will only be open on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Consignment and donations are still needed and welcomed. Unwanted items should be taken to building 581 - off Goddard Drive.

Family Child Care Provider applications being accepted
The Family Child Care office is accepting applications for missile care and extended duty providers. For more information, contact the Family Child Care office at 731-2116.

Volunteers needed for Walk to end Alzheimer's
The Walk To End Alzheimer's event is scheduled to take place Sunday Sept. 18, and volunteers are needed to head Malmstrom groups; this includes advertising, organization of teams, setup and tear-down, and volunteers to run the military booth the day of the walk.
