Thrift Store summer hours announced Through the months of June, July and August the Thrift Store will only be open on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Consignment and donations are still needed and welcomed. Unwanted items should be taken to building 581 - off Goddard Drive. Malmstrom Commissary to be closed for Labor Day The Malmstrom Commissary will be closed Sept. 5 and 6 in observance of Labor Day. It will re-open Sept. 7 at 7 a.m. Volunteers needed for Walk for Autism NorthCentral Montana Autism Society of America is having their annual "Walk for Autism" scheduled for noon Saturday Sept. 10., at the Gibson Park. Those interested in volunteering are encouraged to attend the last meeting scheduled for Sept. 6 at 5:30 p.m., at the Quality Life Concepts Building. Volunteers and riders needed for Pedal for the Medal Pedal for the Medal cycling event to benefit Special Olympics Montana is scheduled to take place Sept. 10 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will start and finish at Gore Hill near the Great Falls International Airport. Riders will have a choice of 25, 50 and 100-mile routes. Those interested in volunteering or riding in the event can get all the details at www.somt.org. Volunteers needed for upcoming AWANA Year The Chapel is planning to start the Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed program Sept. 14 and volunteers are needed to help work it. Teams needed for Walk to end Alzheimer's The Walk to End Alzheimer's event is scheduled to take place Sunday Sept. 18.
