Group works to save energy on base through education

MALMSTROM AIR FORCE BASE, Mont. -- The Organizational Efficiency Working Group is part of the base's Energy Management Steering Group that manages energy usage on the base.

The purpose of the working group is to improve organizational efficiencies in an effort to save energy. The end goal is to reduce energy usage, thereby reducing costs and Malmstrom's "carbon footprint." The group plans to accomplish this through educating, planning, negotiating, optimizing and maintaining energy conservation methods.

The OEWG encourages everyone to conserve energy around the base.

Anyone who has a good idea of how to better conserve energy or would like to comment on the program should contact one of the following OEWG representatives:
