MALMSTROM AIR FORCE BASE, Mont. --  Temporary housing office closure
The housing office will only be open briefly from 7:15 a.m. to 7:45 and 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Nov. 14-15 due to a mandatory training session the rest of the day. No assignments or terminations will be scheduled. The office will have one person to aid with applications only.

Malmstrom transitions to seven digit dialing system Nov. 21
Malmstrom Air Force Base will convert to a mandatory Air Force-wide seven digit dialing system, scheduled to begin Nov. 21. To reach a base number, dial 731 and the last four digits of the number. If phone transition does not occur, contact the 341st Communications Squaron at 731-2622 to report an error.

Volunteers needed for bell ringing
The Salvation Army is gearing up for their 2011 Red Kettle campaign and volunteers are needed to serve as bell ringers to help raise money in support of social humanitarian efforts. The campaign is slated to start Nov. 24 and run through Dec. 24, every Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Normal shifts are two hours long. GPC purchases shipping information
Government purchase card holders who buy products from commercial vendors online or via Air Force Form 9s need to provide the vendor with their own organization's mailing address. Do not have the products shipped to the Traffic Management Office or Base Supply Store. TMO and base supply do not accept non-transportation control number shipments. Fall adventures await
The Outdoor Recreation staff has planned a few fall trips to entice the adventurist outdoors in the cooler air. Nov. 19, a mountain hayride and weiner roast is on tap from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Enjoy a caving adventure Nov. 20 from 1 to 9 p.m. at Lick Creek Cave.
