MAFB switching dialing system
Malmstrom Air Force Base will convert to a mandatory Air Force-wide seven digit dialing system, scheduled to begin Nov. 28. To reach a base number, dial 731 and the last four digits of the number.

Volunteers needed for bell ringing
The Salvation Army is gearing up for their 2011 Red Kettle campaign and volunteers are needed to serve as bell ringers to help raise money in support of social humanitarian efforts. The campaign is slated to start Nov. 24 and run through Dec. 24, every Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Normal shifts are two hours long. GPC purchases shipping information
Government purchase card holders who buy products from commercial vendors online or via Air Force Form 9s need to provide the vendor with their own organization's mailing address. Do not have the products shipped to the Traffic Management Office or Base Supply Store. TMO and base supply do not accept non-transportation control number shipments. Air Force Aid Society to award grants
Under the General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant program, AFAS awards $2,000 to select applicants. The program is offered to dependent sons and daughters of active duty, Title 10 Air National Guard/Reservists on extended active duty, Title 32 AGR performing full-time active duty, retired, retired Reservists with 20 or more qualifying years of service, and deceased Air Force members. Spouses (residing stateside) of active duty and Title 10 AGR/Reservists on extended active duty; and surviving spouses of deceased members are also eligible candidates.
