MALMSTROM AIR FORCE BASE, Mont. --  Thrift Store winter hours
The Thrift Store will be open Tuesdays, Fridays and the first Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Consignments and donations are needed and always welcome. Take unwanted items to building 581 on Goddard Drive.

Malmstrom bank locations closing temporarily
Malmstrom's US Bank and 1st Liberty FCU are closed due to construction. The estimated reopening for both on-base branches is March 20. The ATMs on base will remain open. For all other banking, visit any of the branch locations in Great Falls. 1st Liberty FCU has a branch right outside of the 2nd Avenue North gate. US Bank has branches located at 1700 10th Ave. S. and at 300 Central Ave.

Glacier backcountry winter trip and class
A winter camping class and glacier pre-trip course is scheduled for Jan. 26 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Attending the class is required in order to attend Glacier backcountry winter trip scheduled for Jan. 28 at 7 a.m. to Jan. 29 at 8 p.m. Trip includes snowshoeing, cross-country skiing into Glacier's backcountry and camping overnight. The cost for the trip is $20 and sign-up is required. Fees include winter camping class, park entry, transportation, ski/snowshoes and camping gear. Sign up to take oil painting class
An oil painting class is scheduled for Jan. 21 at Arts and Crafts from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Learn to pain country landscapes, old barns, water mills, cabins and rural settings. Call Arts and Crafts at 731-3641 for more information.

Intro to Dutch oven cooking
An intro to Dutch oven cooking class held at Outdoor Recreation is scheduled for Jan. 25 from 5 to 8 p.m. Call Outdoor Recreation at 731-3263 for more information.

Chapel services scheduled
· A Protestant Ash Wednesday service at the Chapel is slated for Feb. 22 at 12:30 p.m.
· A Maundy Thursday Seder meal at the Chapel is slated for April 5 at 6 p.m.
· A Protestant Good Friday service at the Chapel is scheduled for April 6 at noon.
· A Protestant Easter sunrise service at the Chapel is scheduled for April 8 at 6:45 a.m., followed by a breakfast in the Chapel Annex.
