Malmstrom can now offer CNA program Published Jan. 27, 2012 By Karan Godette Airman and Family Readiness Center MALMSTROM AIR FORCE BASE, Mont. -- Through the Air Force Aid Society Spouse Employment Program, Malmstrom has been approved to offer the Certified Nursing Assistant Program in partnership with Spectrum Medical Services. Through this program, the Air Force Aid Society will pay for 10 spouses of active- duty military to become certified CNA's in hopes of receiving employment immediately after. There will be multiple training sessions offered. Spouses will only need to attend one session to become certified. Certification is for the state of Montana, but if you move to another state, you may/may not require additional coursework to keep up the certification. If you are a spouse of an active-duty military member and are interested in becoming a CNA, please come by to pick up a CNA scholarship application packet at the Airman and Family Readiness Center, building 1192, to apply.
