Volunteers needed for Multi-Cultural Committee

Part of Gumwood Street to close
PSI General Contractors has requested a road closure of Gumwood Street between Maple and Plum streets to begin phase one demolition of military family housing effective April 1. Questions should be directed to Jayson Thomas at 731-6212.

Thrift Store needs donations
Malmstrom's Thrift Store is accepting spring and summer donations. The store is open Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, call 731-3213.

Retiree activities office looking for director
The Malmstrom retiree activities office and retirees council are currently looking for a highly motivated individual to serve as the council and retiree activity director. This volunteer position is the liaison between active-duty elements at Malmstrom and serves all military retirees, spouses, widows, widowers and their families. The retiree council provides the retirees and surviving spouses with the opportunity to participate in programs and sharing of information in the areas of health care, benefits and activities. In addition, provide the Malmstrom command structure with insight into the problems, concerns and needs of the retiree community. Video game night
A video game night is scheduled for April 20 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Grizzly Bend. There will be a Halo and Call of Duty tournament that is sign-up only with a $5 entry fee due by April 13. RAD Class being offered
A Rape Aggression Defense class is being offered by Malmstrom's Sexual Assault Prevention and Response office on April 6 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is no cost to participate and each class member will receive training and RAD Basic student manuals. Spring carnival slated at Loy
Loy Elementary is hosting a carnival April 13 from 5:30 to 8 pm. Wear red, white and blue to celebrate the theme: "All American Game Night." It will feature games, food and fun. Pre-event ticket sales have ended but tickets can be purchased at the door. They are good for all games and food. Questions can be directed to the Loy PTA via email at loyelementarypta@live.com.

Chapel services scheduled
Services scheduled at the base chapel Lent and Easter season include:
· A Maundy Thursday service is slated for April 5 at 6 p.m.
· A Protestant Good Friday service is scheduled for April 6 at noon.
· A Protestant Easter sunrise service is scheduled for April 8 at 6:45 a.m., followed by a breakfast.

Peace Place Respite Care
The First Presbyterian Church of Great Falls, located on 14th Street across from Paris Gibson Museum, is offering respite care for parents and caregivers of infants and children to the ages of 5 Wednesdays from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. The cost is $12 but scholarships are available.
