Volunteers needed
Helping Hands, a ministry of 1st English Evangelical Lutheran Church at 112 8th Street North is looking for volunteers to help give food to those in need on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m. Helping Hands also needs volunteers to help unload food donations on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday mornings. PM Optimist Bike Club seeking bike donations
The PM Optimist Bike Club is in need of new or used bikes or bike parts. The program helps children and adults who need, and otherwise can't afford, bikes by refurbishing and loaning out bicycles to the local community. To make a bike donation, contact Cindy Montoya at (406) 799-1716.

1st Avenue North street repaving
1st Avenue North from 72nd Street North to 69th Street North will be reduced to one lane May 2-11 for repaving. For more information, call Bill Reid at 731-6144.

341st SFG combat challenge
Malmstrom personnel are invited to cheer on the 341st Security Forces Group fire team competition "Aces Cop Combat Challenge" May 11 at 7 a.m. The all day event will be held at Powwow Pond and the Warrior Launch Facility followed by an awards ceremony at the Grizzly Bend. Embry-Riddle accepting applications
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is accepting applications for their summer term, which runs May 28 through July 29. ASCI 185-Basic Ground School for Private Pilots, an elective course for the Aeronautics degree program, will be offered along with classes toward A&P licenses, and CCAF English and math classes. Classes typically run one night a

Volunteers needed for Cub Scout day camp
Boy Scouts of America Montana Council is in need of volunteers to help with this year's Cub Scout day camp. Day camp runs June 12-14 at the Medicine River Scout Center. A number of positions need to be filled to help Cub Scouts with various activities throughout the day.
