Wing Sports SmackDown planned Squadrons can compete for the coveted "Wing Sports" Trophy at the Wing Sports SmackDown on June 1 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Grizzly Bend. Points can be earned by participating in the open events or by signing up for the "sign-up events." Competition includes 2-on-2 basketball, foosball, ping pong, volleyball, horseshoes, 3-point shoot out, just dance/dance central and more. The 341st Medical Group will be defending their title. Any military members (including those retired), dependents ages 11 and up, and civilians employees are eligible to sign up for the event. Volunteers needed for trail project National Trails Day is June 2 and to celebrate, volunteers are needed to help with a clean-up and restoration project on the south shore of the River's Edge Trail starting at 9 a.m. Volunteers should meet at the Lewis and Clark Overlook near Rainbow Dam. Top 3 offers scholarship The Malmstrom Top 3 is offering a scholarship to one Airman and one noncommissioned officer each quarter. The winners must be enrolled in an accredited college to receive the scholarship. Free squadron bowling offered Active-duty military within a squadron can bowl for free between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Reservations need to be coordinated through first sergeants. Library database provides audiobooks OneClickdigital is the featured database of the month at the library. It provides free downloadable to MP3 and WMA audiobooks, all iPod compatible.
