Road construction underway
Construction is underway on 2nd Avenue North from the 57th Street intersection east to the main entrance to Malmstrom. Work will include a mill and overlay of the existing roadway, the removal of raised medians and roadway beautification. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction and the construction is expected to last through July 27.

In a separate project set to begin June 25, a 1.1 mile section of River Drive from 25th Street North to the intersection with 38th Street North, directly adjacent to Veterans Memorial Park and Eagle Falls Golf Course will also received a mill and overlay. However, one 150-foot section will receive a new retaining wall which will force the closure of that road June 25-28. The River's Edge Trail will also be closed during that time.
