Summary Courts Officer appointed
Col. H.B. Brual, 341st Missile Wing commander, regretfully announces the death of Senior Airman Joshua Austin, 341st Civil Engineer Squadron heating, ventilation and air conditioning technician. Anyone having claims against or indebtedness to the estate of Austin should contact 1st Lt. Brendan Dorsey-Spitz, 341st CES, and Summary Courts Officer, at 731-6155.

Summer reading under way
A summer reading program, "Reading is so Delicious! Eat, Move, Read," is scheduled for July 2 to 31 at the library for children ages 2 to 16. Children and parents can sign up at the library. For more information, call Dixie Paronto at 731-2748.

Thrift Store summer hours
Starting July 9 and running through the month of August, the Thrift Store will be open on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. To find out more, visit the store's Facebook page.

Fire muster coming in July
The Malmstrom Fire Department will be hosting a fire muster challenge in conjunction with the grand opening of the new Exchange July 20. Complete details will be released closer to the event but start planning your teams of four competitors now. Teams can be all male, all female or a combination of the two. Auditions for positions in the Air Force ball
Auditions for emcee, co-emcee and national anthem singer positions for Malmstrom's Air Force ball is scheduled for July 16 at 2 p.m. at the Grizzly Bend. Anyone interested should email their contact information and position auditioning for to joseph.gawlik@us.af.mil.

Consumer confidence report now available
The 2011 Consumer Confidence Report for Malmstrom Air Force base is now available. This report details the quality of the drinking water based on water samples taken throughout 2011 at Malmstrom. The report is available online at www.malmstom.af.mil. You can also call or write the Bioenvironmental Engineering office at 406-731-4406. Their address is 341 MDOS/SGOJ, 7300 N. Perimeter Rd., Malmstrom AFB, MT 59402. The full report contains two pages of water sampling data taken by the Bioenvironmental Engineering office followed by a six-page report provided by the city of Great Falls outlining the quality of the water provided by the city for use on Malmstrom.

College 101 schedule change
