Calling all amateur photographers! The 341st Missile Wing Public Affairs Office is hosting a base-wide photo competition open to all active-duty, dependents and civilians on the installation. Photo submissions will be accepted through August 31, and the theme for this quarter will be "Montana Summers."

In order for a photo to be eligible for the competition, it must have been taken in Montana by the submitting member after May 1, 2012. All entries must be suitable for viewing by general audiences and adhere to Security, Accuracy, Propriety and Policy requirements. Also, submissions may not be altered from their original state, aside from basic lighting corrections. Each photographer may only submit one photo per quarter.

Submissions are to be emailed to Public Affairs at 341mwpa@us.af.mil for individual photo evaluation. All entries should include a name, email, phone number and photo title. Photos must be sized to 5x7 and in JPEG file format with a 300 dpi.

On August 3, all of the submitted photographs will be displayed on the Official Malmstrom Facebook website for public judging. The photos with the most "likes" will be among the semi-finalists for the competition. The Public Affairs Office and wing leadership will determine the winner, whose photograph will be displayed on the installation, featured in the base newspaper, website and social media sites, and on Mission Malmstrom. The winner will also be presented with a certificate from the base commander.
