Halloween activities for Team Malmstrom

MALMSTROM AIR FORCE BASE, Mont. --  The following are various Halloween activities available to Team Malmstrom members scheduled during the month of October:

Oct. 12 to 31
An unmanned booth will be set up at the base clinic during the month of October at the main entrance. The first 100 people to visit the booth will receive trick-or-treat bags with paper pumpkin carving stencils, puzzle activities, reflector tape for costumes, Halloween pencils, mini tablets and erasers. The booth will also include Halloween safety tips for children and purple ribbons representing Domestic Violence Awareness Month. For more information, call 731-4174.

Oct. 23, 10 a.m.
The base library will be celebrating Halloween on Oct. 23 at 10 a.m. during story time. Children can come in costume and trick-or-treat at the library. For more information on story time or other library programs, call 731-4638.

Oct. 26, 6 to 8 p.m.
Children are encouraged to come in costume to the annual Fall Festival scheduled for Oct. 26 at the Youth Center. Wristbands can be purchased at the door for $5 and each allows children to play unlimited games and includes a goody bag. Prizes will be awarded for best costumes in age categories. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase that night.

Oct. 27, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Ride the Outdoor Recreation Halloween Hayride wagon from a pick-up point in each housing area to trick-or-treat at the 341st Missile Wing commander and command chief's party. For more information, visit 341fss.com for the schedule and map.

Oct. 27, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Team Malmstrom enlisted members are invited to a Halloween Bash hosted by the Airman's Council at the Grizzly Bend. Enter a costume contest for a chance to win up to $50. Oct. 31, 7 a.m.
The Fitness Center is holding a Halloween 5K Fun Run starting at the outdoor track. Participants are encouraged to run in costumes and can sign-up at the front desk of the center. For more information, call the Fitness Center at 731-3621.

Oct. 25, 4:30 p.m.
Children and families are invited to the Youth Center to decorate pumpkins on Oct. 25 at 4:30 p.m. Pumpkins and all art supplies will be supplied. For more information, call the Youth Center at 731-4634.
