Brual 341st Missile Wing commander MALMSTROM AIR FORCE BASE, Mont. -- The Air Force Global Strike Command Inspector General and his team of about 160 inspectors will start arriving next week. You are READY; you have worked hard to be ready for the Consolidated Unit Inspection that will be starting next week. This CUI will cover a total of 11 inspections and evaluations, listed below: · Compliance inspection · Logistics Compliance Assessment Program · Aircrew Standardization and Evaluation visit · Health Services inspection · Air Force Metrology and Calibration Program visit · Safety Program Management evaluation · Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health and Management Program compliance assessment · Information Program Management evaluation · Standardization Evaluation Program for weather operations · Judge Advocate Article 6 inspection (part 1) · Airfield Operations Certification inspection. We have gone through countless ways to prepare including CUI prep meetings, semi-annual self assessments, Management Internal Control Toolset implementation, internal Staff Assistance Visits, external higher headquarters SAVs, Wing exercises, Functional Area inspections, Operational Readiness Inspection tips of the day and Guardian newspaper articles just to name a few. There is no doubt in my mind that you have put a lot of hard work into not only being inspection ready, but more importantly, mission ready each and every day. I could not be more proud of the dedication and commitment to the hard work the men and women of Wing One have committed to in keeping Malmstrom a model base in Air Force Global Strike Command.
