MALMSTROM AIR FORCE BASE, Mont. -- The Personal and Work Life Program offered by Malmstrom’s Airman and Family Readiness Center strives to enrich and improve the quality of life for service members and their families by providing the knowledge and skills needed for effective living. This program also eases adaptation to the military lifestyle to better meet the needs of our expeditionary Airmen and families. P&WL services facilitate the empowerment of Airmen and families to increase the effectiveness of their skills in daily living, in relating to others, in coping with life events and in realizing personal potential.
P&WL services assist with force readiness to include prevention/enrichment education and consultation designed to empower and enhance social competence for all base individuals, couples and families, as well as build resilience skills that assist in navigating a mobile, military lifestyle.
The Malmstrom A&FRC offers families healthy relationship and lifestyle guidance either one on one or in workshops. Personal readiness must be continually addressed to ensure members’ and families’ requirements are met throughout the military life cycle and particularly across all phases of deployment.
Programs include consultation and facilitation services that are concrete, structured and curriculum-based to develop and/or introduce new skills to increase the effectiveness of daily living, relating others, coping with life events and realizing self-potential.
