Malmstrom's visitor control center is located on 2nd Avenue North just outside the base gate and is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The 341st Security Forces Squadron issues vehicle and visitor passes in the center. After these hours, a temporary pass can be granted at the 2nd Avenue North gate. All visitors require a visitor pass. To receive one, individual(s) must have a valid, government-issued photo ID* and an authorized sponsor (service member or dependent). Each sponsor may escort up to six people in no more than two vehicles (not including the sponsors).
*Individuals using a state-issued driver's license or identification card as a photo ID should ensure the state that issued it is a REAL ID compliant state or a state that has received an extension. More information on the REAL ID Act can be found at https://www.dhs.gov/real-id-enforcement-brief?utm_source=frequent_page&utm_medium=web&utm_campaign=dhs_frp##
Vehicle passes require current registration, proof of insurance, a valid driver's license and an authorized sponsor. For VCC questions, call 406-731-4489. Please see a Security Forces member at the main gate if you need a pass for a visitor when the VCC is closed. Malmstrom Museum visitors may obtain museum passes by checking in at the VCC.
