How can I request a speaker?

The Speaker's Bureau is composed of military and civilian Air Force people who volunteer their time to speak in the community. Most requests for speakers come from area schools and civic organizations, and our speakers can talk on a variety of subjects. 

When you send us a speaker request, please provide the following information: 

- Name of organization, 
- Grade of school class (if appropriate), 
- Name and telephone number of your point of contact for the speaking engagement, 
- Date and time of the event
- The topic you'd like the speaker to address. 

If you suggest more than one topic it will give us more flexibility in locating the best speaker for you. 

Since this is a voluntary program, with our speakers donating their time, we must work around their work schedules and other obligations. We ask that you allow us at least four weeks prior notice for a speaking engagement. Our list of topics grows and changes monthly. 

Subjects can range from specialty areas such as medicine or law enforcement to personal experiences, such as working overseas, leadership or management. For schools we have speakers who can talk to your class on similar subjects. 

Some of the topics our speakers can address are: aircraft, Air Force Academy, audiovisual products, aviation, African American history/ Airmen, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, careers in the Air Force, Civil Air Patrol, Civil Service opportunities, communication, computers, crime prevention, education programs in the Air Force, financial planning, health professions, human relations, law enforcement, leadership, meteorology/weather, medical issues, overseas living/working, women in the Air Force and working spouses or we will try to find a speaker for your specific request.
