Colonel BRIAN R. LOW

Colonel Brian R. Low is the is the Commander of the 341st Mission Support Group, Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont. As Commander, he delivers critical warfighting and peacetime support to the 341st Missile Wing. The group is comprised of 1,100+ personnel and provides premier service, support, and innovative programs in the areas of engineering and construction, contracting, disaster preparedness, personnel administration, force development, recreation facilities, dining, lodging, housing, communication services, cyber operations, transportation, supply, and ensures worldwide contingency force readiness.

Colonel Low was previously the Director, Logistics, Engineering, and Force Protection for Headquarters, Fifth Air Force, Yokota Air Base, Japan. In this position, he developed and fostered bilateral relationships and interoperability to support contingency operations in the Pacific region and for the defense of Japan. He administered host nation construction programs, environmental, real estate, and strategic basing programs with U.S. Forces Japan and the Government of Japan supporting three bases and 53,000 military and civilian personnel. Additionally, he oversaw contingency and joint security operations, antiterrorism planning, and bilateral security training. Finally, he provided oversight of base support plans, and logistics and maintenance support for U.S. Air Forces in Japan.

Colonel Low received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and commission through the Reserve Officers Training Program at Utah State University in 2003. Since commissioning, he has served in a variety of positions at the Air Staff, MAJCOM and squadron levels, including three squadron commands as the Civil Engineer Squadron Commander at Osan Air Base, Korea and F.E. Warren AFB, WY and as an Air Officer Commanding over Cadet Squadron 13 at the United States Air Force Academy, CO.  He deployed three times in support of both Operations ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM. 

Colonel Low is married to Alicia and has four children Nathan, Joshua, Kaden and Adeline.
