Colonel Luke R. Stover is the 341st Maintenance Group Commander at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont. He is responsible for more than 550 Airmen and all sustainment, modernization, and deployment operations required in sustaining and modernizing up to 150 Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles and associated launch facilities and launch control centers throughout the 13,800 square mile complex. He is also the senior advisor to the Wing Commander for all logistics and maintenance matters.
Col. Stover entered the Air Force in 2005 as a Distinguished Graduate from the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps program at Montana State University. He is a career logistician having served in a variety of operational aircraft, munitions, and missile maintenance positions, including squadron command of two nuclear-certified units. He is a Distinguished Graduate from both the U.S. Air Force Advanced Maintenance and Munitions Operations School and Air Command and Staff College, a graduate of the Air Force Institute of Technology, and an Air Force Fellow. Prior to his current position, Col. Stover served as the Deputy Commander of the 377th Test and Evaluation Group at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California.
