Colonel KENNETH A. BENTON

Colonel Kenneth A. Benton is Commander of the 341st Maintenance Group, Malmstrom AFB, Montana. He is responsible for more than 550 Airmen and all sustainment, modernization, and deployment operations required in sustaining and modernizing up to 150 Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles and associated launch facilities and launch control centers throughout the 13,800 square mile complex. He is also the senior advisor to the Wing Commander for all logistics and maintenance matters.

Col Benton received his commission from the U. S. Air Force Officer Training School in 1998. He has served in various Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Maintenance, Munitions Maintenance, and Logistics Enterprise positions including Aide-de-Camp to the Commander of Twentieth Air Force, logistics career broadening program, and an Air Force nuclear fellow with the Department of Energy. He has commanded at the squadron level twice and served on the Headquarter Air Force staff as the deputy chief of the Assessments Division.
Prior to assuming his current position, Col Benton was the Commander of the 309th Missile Maintenance Group, Ogden Air Logistics Complex, Hill AFB, UT.
