PET POLICY ADDENDUM EXERPT

Excerpt taken from the Pet Addendum, Exhibit D Western Group Housing LLP:

1. Only two uncaged pets are allowed per home.

2. Residents may not house dogs of any breed that demonstrate a propensity for dominant or aggressive behavior as indicated by any of the following types of behaviors:

        a.  Biting or scratching people;
        b.  Unprovoked barking, growling or snarling at people approaching the dog;
        c.  Aggressively running along a fence line when people are present; or
        d.  Escaping confinement or restriction to chase people.

3. The following breeds of dogs and dogs that have any of the following breed lineage are deemed dominant and aggressive and will not be permitted to be housed at or in the premises: Pit Bulls (including American Staffordshire Terriers and English Staffordshire Bull Terriers), Rottweilers, Chow Chows, Doberman Pinschers, Akitas, Perro de Presa Canario, and wolf hybrids.

Exceptions to this rule can be made only for a certified military working dog that is boarded by its handler/trainer, or a specific dog that has been mutually approved by the landlord and the installation commander in writing.

4. Exotic and other non-domestic animals are prohibited including, but not limited to: monkeys, pot-bellied pigs, hedgehogs, skunks, raccoons, opossums, squirrels and ferrets.

5. Most rodents are prohibited except for hamsters, gerbils and guinea pigs.

6. Reptiles, snakes, arachnids and insects are prohibited.

7. Farm, ranch and wild animals are prohibited. These animals include all animals normally used as work animals and those kept for the production of food.

8. Breeding or raising animals or operating a commercial kennel is prohibited.

9. No visiting pets are permitted without prior landlord approval.

10. Birds, fish and authorized rodents may be housed at the premises provided they are kept in cages and/or tanks.

Service Animals: Animals trained for use by individuals with disabilities are not considered pets. These animals are permitted. The above restrictions do not apply to them. All required documents and current picture are required for file.
