Colonel Lisa M. Martinez is Commander of the 341st Mission Support Group, Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont. As commander, she provides critical warfighting and peacetime support to the 341st Missile Wing.
Colonel Martinez was commissioned through Air Force ROTC at the University of South Carolina in May 1995. She has served in various command, control and communications assignments at the squadron, group, MAJCOM, HQ Air Force, and COCOM level.
Colonel Martinez served as the operations officer at the Joint NetOps Control Center for Multi-National Forces-Iraq in Baghdad. Prior to this assignment, she was the Military Deputy to the Communications Systems Director, United States Southern Command Miami Florida. In this position, she assisted the J6 Director is all aspects of providing C4I requirements support for the commander, COCOM's headquarters staff, two JTFs, SOCSOUTH, JIATF-S and 32 partner
nations. She assisted in the daily planning, execution, sustainment and defense of all voice, data, video, and collaboration C4I support efforts during real world operations and exercises in the USSOUTHCOM area of responsibility in support of the Combatant Commander's missions and
priorities.
