CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT ERYN C. McELROY

Chief Master Sergeant Eryn C. McElroy is the Command Chief Master Sergeant for the 341st Missile Wing, Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana. She is the primary advisor to the commander on matters concerning the readiness, training, morale, health, welfare, effective utilization and discipline for nearly 4,000 military members who support the nation’s nuclear surety objectives by operating, maintaining, and securing Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missiles. The wing operates and maintains 15 missile alert facilities located in a 13,800 square-mile complex.

Chief McElroy entered the Air Force in September of 1996. She graduated from the mental health apprentice course at Sheppard AFB in March 1997. Her background includes all aspects of Mental Health Services, to include being a certified substance abuse counselor, and the role of noncommissioned officer in charge of Psychological Services, Air Force Survival School. She has also performed special duties as a military training leader, acting first sergeant, career assistance advisor and was selected to attend the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy in residence. Her assignments include bases in California, Mississippi, Washington, Texas, Alabama and Montana. Prior to assuming her current position, she was the 341st Medical Group Superintendent at Malmstrom AFB.
