Women's History Month celebrates visionary women
The 2019 Department of Defense theme for Women's History Month is "Visionary Women: Champions of Peace and Nonviolence.” The theme's imagery is represented in the poster of female hands reaching for a dove, the universal symbol of peace. Women’s History Month honors celebrates the struggles and achievements of American women throughout the United States during the month of March.
